I have mentioned before that the exhibit was covered in the Rebel Yell. Well it also warranted an interviewed by the producer of the UNLV Rebcast! The exhibit is down now, but I thought you might enjoy reading some of the comments that were made by those who viewed the exhibit. and you can still see the images on our web site at http://www.library.unlv.edu/arch/events/aias/ Here are some of the comments we received: *the exhibit was a success to me as it did a good job of highlighting the experience of a diverse group of students. *the exhibit was very well composed. Combined with the Friday @ 5 event the timing couldn’t have been better. It’s a great feeling to know that there are these events to look forward to, to interrupt the monotony of studio/class work. This will be hard to top in the future. *the exhibit was put together extremely well. I appreciated the collaborative efforts of the students within our school. *I think the exhibit is wonderful! The graphics are amazing! I think events like these bring the three divisions together and are academically beneficial because we see things we may never have seen before, enriching our college experience. *visually exciting!! What a great experience to see what students find interesting, fascinating, and beautiful. *it has been by far one of the best exhibits I have seen, especially since it was put up by students. AIAS did an outstanding job! *incredible! *this was a great way to show our experiences and travels. It was nice to converse and share stories with colleagues – a great way to get to know each other! *I honestly have not seen such an impressive collection in a very long time. I am more impressed knowing that these images were taken by students. I am awed.
