A project request from is required for all public website projects, except for minor content changes to currently published webpages that adhere to Style Guide rules. The Web Management Committee (WMC) will review all forms at the WMC meeting following their receipt, unless more information needs to be gathered prior to consideration. You will be notified if there is a delay in reviewing the project request form. The WMC is responsible for the evaluation of project requests and will advise the submitter of one of the following outcomes after the project has been reviewed:
A. Great Idea: A project manager will be assigned and a timeline created that indicates when the project will be completed. It is possible that projects that fall into this category will be delayed until the completion of other priorities of the WMC.
B. Good Idea, More Information Needed: It is probable that the WMC can undertake this project, but there needs to be more investigation before the project can be approved. A project manager will be assigned and, after further investigation, the project will be brought back to WMC for another review.
C. Not feasible at this time: The WMC does not see the merit to undertaking the project at this time. The submitter may continue to work on the project and resubmit it in the future, however there is no guarantee that upon further review the WMC will approve it for use on the public website.
If you have an idea that is not yet at project stage that you wish to share with the WMC or if you have any questions about projects, please contact Cory Lampert.
