Hello University Libraries Student Assistant's,

The Annual Libraries Student Assistant Financial Aid Mini Workshops are scheduled for November 2,3,7 and 8. Libraries Human Resources and the Finanical Aid & Scholarship team are hosting the four 30 minute financial aid workshops for you and your student supervisor. Your supervisor will be scheduling you to attend one of the workshops during your regular scheduled shift. If your Library work schedule does not permit you to attend please work with your supervisor. We encourage you to attend one of the workshops so you don't miss out on important financial aid information and upcoming deadlines to apply for financial aid for the 2012-2013 academic year.

If you have any questions, please speak with your supervisor or contact Terry Deem, Libraries Personnel Technician at 5-2226 or Kim Kaplan, Libraries HR Manager at 5-2250.

Thank you!

The Student Employment Leadership Group is excited to announce the launch of the new student assistant blog.  We hope the blog will keep all current student assistants informed with relevant information related to their employment with the University Libraries.  Students interested in working at the University Libraries will be able to use the blog to explore the benefits of working for the library as well as answer questions. The blog will also be a great way to disseminate information and keep everyone in the loop regarding projects, issues, and other general information pertaining to student assistants.

Please take a moment to browse the blog and check out the links. We want to hear from you, so if you have any feedback about the new blog, about what you might want to be included in this blog, or about anything else regarding the student assistant blog, don't hesitate to comment below.

Where do the students take the "student assistant survey"? I tried both of the links provided by the surveymonkey.com and searched the student blog for the survey. If someone would kindly please place a link or directions, so it is easier for students to find, that would be appreciated.
