Taxis and rideshares
Lied Library is a short taxi trip from most Strip hotels. If you'd prefer to take a taxi, Uber, or Lyft to campus, please direct your driver to our cross streets: East Harmon Avenue and University Center Drive. For GPS use 944 E. Harmon Avenue, Las Vegas, NV.
Campus parking for visitors
Parking regulations for the academic year are in effect on campus during the week (days/times below); a permit or payment via the cashless hourly parking system for metered parking is required.
Fall/Spring Semester
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday, 7:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
Summer Semester
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday, 7:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
Hourly parking will be available through the PayByPhone app where you can pay for short term parking with your smart phone. After 1:00 p.m. on Friday, you may park in a metered space without paying, or park in any unoccupied space labeled "Student" or "Staff".
For researchers who plan to spend an extended period in Special Collections, it may be more convenient to purchase a day or week pass from UNLV Parking Services, which will enable you to park in any student space.
