Consult the

breaks out revenue information by district and by category of revenue
but does NOT contain revenue of individual casinos.

Revenue of Individual Gaming Companies
Locate revenue
of individual gaming companies by checking a company's Annual Reports filed either alphabetically by company name in the pamphlet
file, or cataloged in Special Collections stacks. Ask at the Special
Collections reference desk if you are unsure as to where an annual
report is located.
In addition, more detailed financial information can often be found
in the company's Form 10-K reports (filed with the SEC), filed alphabetically in the Special Collections pamphlet file.
The equity companies - Bear Stearns, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette,
Raymond James, and Solomon Smith Barney - all profile individual gaming
companies either annually or quarterly. These reports can be found
in the Special Collections pamphlet file under:

Revenue of Individual Casinos
Although it is
difficult to determine the revenue generated by individual casino
properties, a company's Form 10-K report often breaks down company
revenue by property. These are filed alphabetically in the Special
Collections pamphlet file.

A good source
of history on the early gaming industry in Nevada can be found in
Robbins Cahill's oral history:
Recollections of Work in State Politics, Government, Taxation, Gaming
Control, Clark County Administration and the Nevada Resort Association in the Special Collections stacks.

license information
A keyword search
in the Library's online catalog using the words "gaming licenses"
will provide many useful resources. Also try looking in the Special
Collections pamphlet file. In addtion, Special Collections has City
Hall Minute Books going back to 1911 that list gaming licenses granted.
Ask for these at the reference desk.
The Tax and License Division of the Gaming Control Board in Carson
City may also be able to provide additional information. Their website is located at

Individual
casino profiles
Try the
Casino
Business Directory (annual), which lists over 630 casinos in
North America with the property's correct name, address, phone and
fax numbers. Each listing also includes the number of slots, games,
hotel rooms, restaurants, casino and convention square footage,
and number of parking spaces. Available at the Special Collections
reference desk.
The
Nevada
Gaming Almanac (annual) in Special Collections stacks includes
the same information as listed above, but focuses solely on Nevada. It
also provides detailed summary pages for specific geographic locations
in Nevada such as the LV Strip, Downtown Las Vegas, Reno-Sparks,
and Laughlin.
Note: There is also a
Colorado
Gaming Almanac that provides the same type of information for
Colorado, Mississippi, and a few other up and coming gaming states.
Ask for this at the Special Collections reference desk.
Special Collections also has Promotional and Publicity files on
most of the major Las Vegas casinos. Do a keyword search on the
casino you are researching in the Libraries' online catalog.
