The Myram Borders Papers (1965-1998) contain articles written by Borders, newspaper clippings, court transcripts, photographs, slides, agendas, meeting minutes, and a copy of the joint operating agreement between the Las Vegas Review Journal and the Las Vegas Sun. Also included are media kits for the Desert Inn Hotel and Casino and the Stealth Fighter Public Debut, an annual report to Sheriff John Moran concerning organized crime, and a copy of the MGM fire litigation.

The Tom Hawley Papers (approximately 1955-2019) contain the personal papers of Las Vegas, Nevada based traffic and transportation reporter, Tom Hawley. The collection primarily includes physical and digital materials that represent Hawley's interests in Las Vegas history; transportation issues in the Las Vegas Valley, including the Las Vegas Monorail and Resort Corridor Project; and his work as a traffic and transportation reporter for KSNV Channel 3. Materials from KSNV include video clips and transcripts of Video Vault, a segment on the history of Las Vegas hosted by Hawley. Other materials in this collection include ephemera, postcards, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia on Las Vegas entertainment and gaming. The collection also includes papers and memorabilia representing Hawley's activities as a string bass player for the Henderson Symphony Orchestra and files kept by his parents on Marta Becket and the Amargosa Opera House in Death Valley Junction, California.

The papers also contain handwritten and typewritten drafts of O'Callaghan's "Where I Stand" article for the Las Vegas Sun, along with his reporter's notebooks, monthly planners, and photographic prints. The research files cover a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to environmental issues; nuclear waste; state and local politics; military and veterans affairs; foreign relations including Israel, Iraq, and Korea; and education. The collection also contains copies of speeches given by O'Callaghan as the 23rd Governor of Nevada between 1971 and 1979, some of which contain handwritten notations.

This collection is comprised of the personal papers of noted Las Vegas entertainment writer, producer, and critic Bill Willard, which date from 1887 to 1999. It contains material on his father's theater and political involvements as well as Willard's early childhood and high school years. His time in the United States Army is chronicled by the editorials and correspondence he wrote. His papers trace his continued involvement in writing, entertainment, and art which culminated in his direction of the Arnold Shaw Popular Music Research Center. The collection also includes pictures of his artwork, articles he wrote for various newspapers and magazines, scripts, skits, jokes, awards, over 700 interviews done for the "Rap with the Artist" series, and personal memorabilia.
