This service is for Undergraduate students only. Appointments are available on a first come, first served basis and last 45 minutes to an hour. After you fill out an appointment request form you will be contacted by the Peer Coaches regarding your appointment. Meet at the Lied Library Research & Information Desk on the first floor of Lied Library for your appointment.

This appointment will cover the basics of Lied Library. It will include:
- Library locations and hours
- Using the Catalog
- Working with your subject librarian
- Locating books in the library using the Library of Congress System
- Using the Microfilm or Microfiche machine (optional)
- Briefly cover library computer:
- How to activate RebelCard
- How to print/reload RebelCard
- Library Tour

This appointment will cover basic database information as well as navigating the library website and will include:
- Basic Database information:
- What is a journal article? What is a database?
- Why are these credible sources of information?
- Academic Search Premier:
- Searching for journal articles from home
- Search Terms
- Using Boolean: Importance of using "and" and "or"
- Advanced Search
- Practice finding journal articles
- Use online tools to create bibliographies in many formats (APA, MLA, Chicago)
