Eligible Users
- At this time, only students who are taking classes with no on campus component are eligible for the library's distance education services.
- Students who are taking on campus courses, or who are not enrolled at UNLV are not eligible for these services.
- Students in the following programs should check the web pages listed below for specific information about the library services available to them
Activate Your Library Account
- You need to activate your barcode with the library in order to use Document Delivery Services.
- If you do not have a RebelCard you will need to request a barcode.
- If you have a RebelCard, the barcode is printed on the back of the card, but you will need to activate this barcode for document delivery.
- For requesting or activating your barcode you will need your 'L' Number to make the request. This number is included on correspondence from the Registrar's Office.
- Your barcode is also needed to use the library's electronic resources.
- If you have a RebelCard, the barcode is printed on the back of the card. It automatically becomes active for accessing UNLV's electronic resources from off campus forty-eight hours after you receive your card.
- If you do not have a RebelCard you will need to request a barcode.
- Although your barcode will work for access to electronic resources, you will still need to activate your barcode for document delivery services.
- To check out books at UNLV Libraries in person you will need to register your RebelCard in person at any UNLV Libraries Circulation Desk.
