Undergraduate Medical Education
- Medical students can visit the UME Student Guide to review required and recommended texts for your courses.
- Medical students and UME faculty can request a consultation with Katie Houk who is the UME Liaison Librarian.
Graduate Medical Education
- Residents and Fellows can visit our Medical Residents & Fellows Guide to view resources available during your residency and fellowship
- Residents and fellows and GME faculty can request a consultation with Ana Corral who is the GME Liaison & Research Librarian
Department of Brain Health
- Department of Brain Health students and DBH faculty can request a consultation with Aidy Weeks who is the library liaison.
Community Faculty

UNLV Health Staff
UNLV Health is a not-for-profit organization that is affiliated with the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, but does not fall under UNLV.
- Non-faculty employees of UNLV Health can access some library resources from our website and the University Libraries website however, resources requiring an ACE username and password are limited to affiliated faculty, employees, medical students, residents and fellows of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine.
Non-faculty employees can also visit Lied Library for access to library resources and services. Learn more about visiting University Libraries.

If at UNLV, connect with a liaison librarian for your program, school, or college.
The Medical Education Building is a privately-owned building and only those with a key card have 24/7 access. For all other visitors, access to the building is through invitation by a representative of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine.
- If you are a member of the public requesting access to library resources and services, Lied Library offers access to library resources and services in-person. Learn more about visiting University Libraries.
- We offer some resources from our website, but those requiring an ACE username and password are limited to affiliated faculty, employees, medical students, residents and fellows of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine.
- Those affiliated with other NSHE institutions, non-UNLV affiliated healthcare providers, public school teachers, and members of the general public cannot access UNLV resources remotely.
