Classical Scores Library: Volume I full text
Contains over 25,000 scores - over 400,000 pages - of classical music scores, manuscripts, and previously unpublished material. All major classical musical genres and time periods, medieval to contemporary. Full, study, piano, and vocal scores.

Classical Scores Library: Volume II full text
Collection composed mostly of in-copyright classical scores from major composers and editions. Targets individual composers and collectives to ensure a strong resource for contemporary and previously unpublished works. Full, study, piano, and vocal scores.

Video (Streamed)

Opera in Video streamed
Contains 500 hours of the most important opera performances, captured on video through staged productions, interviews, and documentaries. Selections represent the world’s best performers, conductors, and opera houses and are based on a work’s importance to the operatic canon.

Classical Music in Video streamed
Contain 1,000 hours of classical music performances and masterclasses captured on video—approximately 1,500 performances in all. Performances of all forms of classical music, including major orchestral performances by leading orchestras, plus chamber music, oratorio, and solo performances, along with masterclasses and interviews with master teachers.

Dance in Video streamed
Contains 500 hours of dance productions and documentaries by the most influential performers and companies of the 20th century. Selections cover ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, experimental, and improvisational dance, as well as forerunners of the forms and the pioneers of modern concert dance.

The Music Index covers more than 725 international music periodicals back to 1949. Journals indexed cover many aspects of both classical and popular music, including articles, book reviews, record reviews, first performances, and obituaries.

JSTOR full text
A collection of full text articles from over 600 scholarly journals in various fields, including music, African-American studies, anthropology, Asian studies, ecology, economics, education, finance, history, literature, mathematics, philosophy, political science, and sociology. Journals may be browsed individually or collectively searched within specified subject areas.

Oxford Journals Online full text
Search or browse the full text of more than 180 Oxford University Press journals covering a variety of disciplines. Humanities content areas include art, language, literature, and music. Biochemistry, biology, health science, mathematics, and medicine are some of the science topics covered. Social science areas include economics, history, law, psychology, and sociology. Over half of the journals have full text beginning in the late nineties though some start as late as 2003.

ProQuest Dissertations and Theses contains over 1.5 million entries, providing citations to North American and European dissertations from 1861 forward, with abstracts from 1980 forward. It also provides citations and abstracts for theses from 1988 forward. Full text of UNLV theses and dissertations available from 1996 to the present. Full text from all other institutions available from 1997 to the present.

This is the online equivalent of microfilm research collections based on lists from Evans' American Bibliography (and supplements) and Shaw and Shoemaker's American Bibliography,1801-1819.

Early English Books Online (EEBO) full text
Early English Books Online provides searchable digital access to more than one hundred thousand books on all subjects published in England between 1475 and 1700. Page images accurately reflect the way the works appeared in their original printed editions. Included are works by such authors as Malory, Spenser, Bacon, More, Erasmus, Boyle, Newton, and Galileo. The database also includes musical exercises by Henry Purcell, novels by Aphra Behn, prayer books, pamphlets, proclamations, almanacs, calendars, and many other primary resources. This is the online equivalent of the Early English Books microform series, which is based on the Short-Title Catalogue (Pollard & Redgrave,1475-1640); the Short-Title Catalogue II (Wing, 1641-1700); the Thomason Tracts, and the Early English Books Tract Supplements.

Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) full text
ECCO is a database of digitized books, pamphlets, broadsides and ephemera in English and foreign languages published in the British Empire and in English elsewhere in the world, from1701-1800 . It includes digital reproductions of every page of a variety of primary source materials - books and directories, Bibles, sheet music, sermons, advertisements, and literary works - by many well-known and lesser-known authors.
