What You Can Support
Restricted/Directed Gifts
Restricted/directed gifts allow donors to focus support on a project or program that is especially important to them. In coordination with the dean and the Libraries priorities, donors can choose to fund an initiative that is in need of private support prior to implementation or provide additional support to strengthen an existing program. Restricted gifts can be directed toward a specific branch library, can be used to set up an endowment, or to provide the necessary capital to fund a program in its entirety.
Branch Library Support
Donors can choose to direct their support toward one of the University Libraries’ three branches: Architecture Studies Library, Curriculum Materials Library, or Music Library.
Program/Project support
The following programs are just a few examples of funding opportunities that share strategic significance and importance to faculty, staff, students, and the community.
- Undergraduate Peer Research Coaches Program
- Center for Gaming Research
- Oral History Research Center at UNLV
- Documenting Southern Nevada History
