Searchable database of public opinion including answers to more than 136,000 questions and responses from more than 3.5 million people interviewed by The Gallup Poll since 1935. It also contains Gallup Poll News Service articles, Gallup Poll Tuesday Briefing articles, and Gallup Management Journal articles that feature in-depth public opinion and management data analyses. Replicas of historical news stories and press releases are also included.

Search tips:

  • For a good summary of polling on a major topic such as abortion, capital punishment or cloning click on the trends and topics tab. Then click on the topic you are interested on to get details on polling on the subject. Most reports cover multiple years.
  • Select the documents tab to see a list of the latest polls, questionnaires and articles.
  • If you want to limit your search to specific years, click on the search tab and select advanced search. This mode allows you to select a date range to search.

Where is it :

Go to the UNLV Libraries' home page. Under Find, select Articles, then under Article databases by name, click on the letter G and select Gallup Brain.
