Las Vegas Taxicabs and Airport Shuttles

Las Vegas has a wide variety of taxicabs and shuttle services. If you are planning to take a taxi from McCarran Airport directly to UNLV the fare should be under $15. If you are planning to stay at a hotel, the cab fares vary. For a list of hotels and their cab fares, visit the Las Vegas Taxicab Authority website.

Please note: If you are staying at the Hyatt Place Las Vegas Hotel, they have a shuttle that runs daily from 5:00 AM until Midnight. The shuttle will transport you to the hotel and back to the airport free of charge. This shuttle is available on Level Zero in the airport (one floor down from the baggage claim area).

Another option from the airport to hotels is the commercial shuttle companies: Bell Trans and CLS. From the Airport to your Bell Trans currently charges $6.00 per person. You can purchase a roundtrip voucher for $11.00 per person. CLS charges $6.00 per person from the airport. Please note: If you are traveling with more than one person and staying near UNLV or the Strip, it would be generally cheaper to take a taxi rather than one of these commercial shuttles.
