Databases Review
UNLV Libraries must make plans to adjust spending for library acquisitions to remain within budget this fiscal year. The collection management department was asked to review the Libraries’ database subscriptions and identified titles that have low usage and/or high cost or inflation. During a collection assessment, the collection management group identified 46 databases for review. The Serials Review Group comprised of librarians representing the various colleges and disciplines reviewed these databases and recommended 30 for possible cancellation.
