Allen Green facilitates visionary planning and sustainable community design. With a focus on public participation, interagency cooperation and consultant collaboration, his proactive projects have been featured on CNN, KPFA, Local Cable, art museums, educational exhibits, publications and newspapers for over twenty years.

With graduate degrees in art, architecture and landscape architecture, Allen has taught at U.C. Davis, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and San Francisco State, in addition to leading seminars at Asilomar, Yosemite, U.C.L.A., U.C. Berkeley, and many professional conferences.

Allen's grant funded projects span from a music video on the San Andreas Fault to urban gardens designed and built with people of all ages in a national movement to renew civic spaces. He founded Green Plans in 1998 to advance media and methods to draw vision into action by making interactive planning more fun and effective for mobilizing community spirit.
