| Categories: Cultural -- Historical -- Monumental -- Natural The AIAS Student Photography Exhibition will be a professional exhibit that will portray the experiences students encountered around the world. From buildings, to landscape, to the culture and their people, these will be the type of photos that will be exhibited. It will be displayed in the main gallery of the Architecture Studies Library from Feb 29 – March 31, 2008. Contact the the AIAS by email at aiasunlv@yahoo.com, for additional information. All photographs need to be presented in a tasteful manner, portraying architecture, landscape, monuments, culture, and/or historical experiences. All photographs submitted on or before the dead line will be taken into consideration for display. If there are any questions or concerns please contact the AIAS email address. |

Hello All, First of all, we would like to thank everyone for contributing and participating for this exciting event. We have have been planning this exhibition for months, and the feedback the we received has been overwhelming. We received almost 700 photo with 57 student entries. I would like to thank all of you for taking the time out of your busy, hectic schedule to submit your photos. It means so much to all that is involved. I also like to resend all of the guidelines that will we will be following throughout the submission process: Guidelines - All photographs submitted before the deadline will be taken in consideration but not all will be displayed. - The selected pieces will be determined by the second year professor, Glen Nowak, on February 16 @ 12:00 PM. - All photographs will be provided to Glen Nowak in an anonymous, organized fashion for a fair judgement. - The Architecture Studies Library/AIAS cannot be held responsible for damage, loss, or theft of any photographs. - With this submission you allow the ASL to post your selected photographs on their website gallery. * The objective of this exhibit is to display and promote the various locations that students have traveled throughout the world; therefore it was highly encouraged to submit photographs of cities and countries less traveled. * The goal of this exhibit is to cover as much as the globe as possible. If there are any questions or concern please feel free to email me or talk with Edgar, Crystal and/or Robby.
