The Architecture Studies Library Building in 1997
The Architecture Studies Library is located in the Sogg Architecture Building, which was completed and occupied in August 1997. The Architecture Studies Library (approximately 16,000 gross square feet) includes spaces for book and periodical stacks, individual carrels on both of its floors, current periodicals display shelving, exhibits, a reference area, clippings files, special collections, group study rooms, and a computer lab. The ASL houses a variety of equipment including video players and projector, slide projectors, a public scanner, an overhead projector, cassette players, a text enlarger, and computers devoted to CD-ROM products. Maps of the the two floors of the Architecture Studies Library are also available as are internal shots of the library and a virtual QuickTime walkthrough.
