Design Approach/Narrative: Working with slope, orientation, and views, the design of this passive and active solar residence celebrates the rugged beauty of its site while sustaining against its harsh climate. Careful site analysis, model construction and analysis and early integration of building systems yielded this dynamic passive and active solar demonstration home.
