| MERIT AWARD Design Approach: To create an atmosphere that encourages a blurring of the boundary between the inside and outside spaces. The spaces are organized around and protect the central courtyard. Interior corridors are replaced with exterior walks through the courtyard. The structures are placed to optimize views from the courtyard to the Las Vegas Strip. Each structure benefits from the cooling effects of the courtyard, pool and through cross ventilation of summer wind patterns. Material in ASL Library: Form Core Boards, Project Identification Form, Project Entry Form, Site Plan, Floor Plans, Elevations, Exterior Perspectives, Interior Perspectives and CD
