Design Approach: The design approach revolved around two key site planning decisions. First, the program would be housed in two separate buildings. Second, the resulting space created between the two buildings would be developed as a shared landscaped courtyard. The two buildings are implicitly joined by their arched openings at their respective entries, each representing the opposing spring points of the truncated form.
