Design Approach: The library's design was to develop a feel and identity
of keeping with the clean, friendly, community style of living associated
with Henderson. The desire was for the library to have a human scale,
be warm and personal, not grandiose. The result is a small, low scale
building designed in a vocabulary reminiscent of the history of Henderson
as well as being appropriate for its desert environment.
